Dr Chang Boon Cheng is a local Sarawakian from Sibu. He obtained his degree in medicine from Melbourne University and started his career in Singapore upon graduation in 1997. He completed his Internal Medicine and Cardiology training in Singapore and returned to Kuching in 2008. He served in the Cardiology Department in Sarawak General Hospital and subsequently in Kota Samarahan Heart Centre until 2012. During his government service, he participated in various in international research project on top of his regular clinical work.
