Clinical Experience :

  • Dr. Sim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and a Consultant Endocrinologist at Sarawak General Hospital. He graduated from the University of Leeds and obtained his MRCP in 2015, followed by specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology, culminating in the award of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
  • Dr. Sim brings a wealth of clinical expertise from the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), most recently serving as a Consultant Endocrinologist at Nottingham University Hospitals. He has a strong clinical interest in diabetes care with a focus on delivering personalised, evidence-based and holistic management to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Strongly committed to medical education, he plays an active role in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at UNIMAS. Dr. Sim also serves as an examiner for the MRCP PACES examination.
  • In recognition of his clinical and academic contributions, he was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of London (FRCP).
