Clinical Experience :
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sim Chun Yang is a medical lecturer and neurologist in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He graduated from Crimea State Medical University (CSMU, UKr) in 2011 and completed his Masters in Internal Medicine in UKM in 2019. He also obtained the MRCP(UK) certification in 2018. He then pursued subspecialty training in neurology rotating through various esteemed centres namely SGH, PPUKM, PPUM and HPUPM before undertaking a 6-mth clinical fellowship in movement disorders in NHNN, UCL, UK, thereby completing his neurology training in 2023. He has special interest in Parkinsons disease and its advanced treatment namely deep brain stimulation (DBS) and is currently leading the DBS service across Sarawak.
