Clinical Experience
- Dr. Tie Teck Liang is a Musculoskeletal Orthopaedic Oncology Subspecialist at Sarawak General Hospital, Kuching, serving in this role since March 2025. He completed his subspecialty training in orthopaedic oncology at leading institutions including Taipei Veterans General Hospital (Taiwan), Hospital Kuala Lumpur, and Hospital Queen Elizabeth (Sabah) from 2021 to 2024. Previously, he held various positions in general orthopaedics at Hospital Sibu, Sarawak General Hospital, and Hospital Kuala Lumpur, building a solid foundation through roles as a specialist, senior resident, and junior resident since 2009.
- Dr. Tie is also actively involved in academic and research activities. He has presented at international conferences such as MOA ASM and APMSTS, and has contributed to multiple musculoskeletal oncology research projects as a co-investigator and supervisor. Additionally, he has served as a sessional lecturer for SEGi College and Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
