Endoscopy room is attached to the daycare recovery unit and is managed by the very experienced team of healthcare nurses. The various scopes performed include:
- Upper endoscopy/Gastroscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
- Oesophageal Dilatation
- Endoscopic Sclerotherapy
- Polypectomy
- Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)
The recovery room is located in Level 5, just next to the endoscopy room to minimise unnecessary transfer of patients when they are under sedation. This is a well equipped and staffed to ensure a pleasant and smooth recovery from the sedation given during procedure.
